New and improved version of the original. Used commonly in the Rocky Mountains where lowering distances are long but long ropes are impractical to carry, the Alpine Brake Tube is an excellent choice for running multiple ropes through a single device, and for passing knots. This improved version is bead blasted and anodized for long wearing friction, and offers tie-off capability. It also has risers on the bottom to keep it off the ground while in use. Made of thick aluminum tubing and stainless steel, the Brake Tube is a useful alternative for lowering heavy loads.
Large diameter brake bars in kit including one six bar rappel rack, a stainless steel tie off bar, one grooved anodized aluminum straight slot bar, and 4 anodized aluminum angled brake bars.
This is the lightest, strongest, most efficient and durable pulley of it's kind available today. Primary and secondary carabiner holes are at a surplus and two quick release pins "lock off" the sheave when high strength tie off is required.
Efficient use of prusiks as belay or progress capturing device. Constructed with a 3" diameter sheave on a high efficiency ball bearing. Large top hole accepts 3 large carabiners.
